Here are  programs I have produced over the years, along with the program code. Anyone is welcome to download these, to do as you wish. If you are not familiar with downloading or get any problems downloading, click on Downloads below. I make no guarantee as to any of my programs, but I have never known any to cause damage to the system. I often seek to improve and update them, the same way as we are often asked to update the versions of Windows installed. Over the past 20 or so years I have used several different versions of Basic. I once started a thread in the Liberty basic forum asking why Basic is looked down upon by mainly younger Programmers, in favour of more complex languages. The general consensus of opinion was that the sensible programmer uses whatever language fits the purpose. All the languages work under Windows, even Qbasic/QuickBasic which is DOS based, but faster than the others, but it may no longer work on modern flat screen monitors. Free Basic a modern version of QB and will work on these monitors. My personal opinion is that Liberty Basic is the most popular for creating Windows based GUI programs, its Basic is not as comprehensive as BBC BASIC and Qbasic, and this is why experienced programmes often need to resort to the use of complex API calls. BBC BASIC for Windows has the widest range of Basic functions, but is maybe more difficult to understand when attempting to make use of the important Windows Buttons, Boxes, and menus.  JustBasic is a free but a limited version of Liberty Basic. As always each computer language has its own advantages and disadvantages.

MY SYSTEM IS CONTINUOUSLY BEING MONITORED AGAINST VIRUSES AND SPY-WARE, AND BLOCKING SUSPECT EMAILS.
